Dirty Dozen Race

I 1st heard about a race so called “Dirty Dozen Race” in the UK from my Coach 1 year ago, at 1st I wasn’t too sure on going there but then over a period of time He had finally convinced (I was too scary!). Then something said to me GO !! So I canceled 2 OCR races ! instead at no moment I thought I did a mistake. I knew my Coach was leading me to something special.
The moment came aand when I arrived in the UK was raining, cold winds but it did not make a difference I was excited about the race knowing that I was going into 2 races same day !
Meeting and racing with the best females (OCR U.K) for me that was Awesome.
The Location was chosen carefully…. Kent (The Garden England) was Perfect !
I arrived to get my race Dorsal and get the feel of the atmosphere when I said to myself hey this different !
There wasn’t time to understand why, the race 09.30 Elite was 10 mins away I could see Doug and the team getting everything ready for the perfect start of the race
and I was really pumped up for the race! Lots of running, full of great obstacles, lots of mud, cold, over a distance of 12k and 6k which was in the afternoon.
The course was very well designed with a Family atmosphere that went into creating such a wonderful event! The Organization of the event was perfect from Marshalls to Volunteers !
It was definitely a great experience in the OCR, it was so cool ! I’m coming back for The DESTROYER 18k.
At this moment I would to thank everyone Marshalls to Volunteers ! The team who worked so hard setting up the obstacles Dirty Dozen Race not forgetting Doug !!
Congratulations !
